  4. Scientific Research Division head (since 2020)

Research Interests

  1. Neutron and X-ray scattering on soft matter and nanomaterials
  2. Biomolecular solution structures, hierarchical structures, membranes, and vesicles
  3. Polymer crystallization and composites

Dr. U-Ser Jeng has been developing methodology and instruments centering on synchrotron small- and wide-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS/WAXS). The scientific research interests include (1) Solution structures and hierarchical structures of biomolecules, (3) Phase separations in solution and functional thin films, and (3) Polymer crystallization, self-assembly, and composites
